Cedar Tent

Reconnect with nature and disconnect from the demands of everyday life at The Grove. Set on five wooded acres on the edge of Glendalough State Park, you’ll find wooded trails, rushing creeks, and some of the clearest water you’ve ever seen—all inviting you to slow down, settle in, and have fun.

Our Cedar Tent is one of six thoughtfully designed canvas tents on the property, offering a cozy yet elevated glamping experience. This Avalon Bell Tent (16'5" diameter with a 9'8" center height) feels both spacious and inviting, with windows around the base to let in fresh air and the sounds of the woods. The tent comfortably sleeps up to four guests with a queen bed and the option to add one or two plush cots.

Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable, restful stay—a queen bed with a memory foam mattress, two chairs, games and books, a tea kettle and French press, a mini fridge/freezer, and soft bedding and bath towels. It’s a space designed to feel simple, beautiful, and restorative.

Outside, each tent has its own private setup with a picnic table, twinkle lights, a fire pit with a cooking grate, and chairs overlooking peaceful wetlands—perfect for slow evenings by the fire.

There is a shared, beautifully designed bathhouse on the property for all guests, with two bathrooms and two private shower rooms.

Glendalough State Park—nearly 2,000 acres with over 9 miles of undeveloped shoreline and six lakes—is right across the road, offering endless opportunities for biking, hiking, swimming, and paddling.

A quick bike ride or drive brings you into the charming town of Battle Lake, where you’ll find local restaurants, ice cream, and small-town favorites (we highly recommend biking in for dinner and a stop at Granny’s Pantry).
