WE LOVE TO HOST

For us, it’s all about the experience. From lush mattresses to natural sunlight seeping through canvas ceilings, we are ready for you. One of America’s best-kept secrets is found right in Northwestern Minnesota. A little place we like to call Battle Lake…and the experience is worth the trip!

The Grove is located on the edge of the coveted Glendolough State Park, where you will find many a wooded oasis, rushing rivers, fine crafted eateries (& drinkeries), and the clearest water you’ve ever seen in a lake. What sets us apart from other glamping spots? Besides the best-kept-secret location, this place is run by someone who was born and raised here in Battle Lake. So she knows how to help you have the best experience you can!

Come enjoy the lush comfort of glamping in a special secret no one else knows about but you…and the few others who love this place.

NATURE VS. COMFORT

We believe you shouldn’t have to choose between nature and comfort. At The Grove, we provide a simple but lush camping experience that allows you to energetically explore the beautiful lands of Northwestern Minnesota and more specifically, Glendalough State Park. Instead of having to nurse your sore neck or back while you paddle over the serene waters of Battle Lake, you can just focus on the beauty around you because you slept in an actual bed, while still being extremely close to nature.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Whether you are marking a personal milestone or celebrating a anniversary, we will do all that we can to make sure you have what you need to have a fantastic experience. Our glamping spot is perfect for retreats, honeymoons, family reunions, girls getaways, and so much more. There is plenty to do for everyone here!

RETREATS & GETAWAYS

From yoga retreats to book club getaways and bachelorette parties to honeymoon adventures, there’s something for everyone up here! With multiple tents you can book small to large groups getting the chance to enjoy the whole property to yourself. You can do self-development seminars in the woods, drinks around the campfire at night, yoga on the lawn, go for gorgeous hikes, and so much more. We’ll even give you all the best tips on the fun hot spots in town if you’d like.

This place is amazing! I am not a camper but this place is definitely one we will come back to. Well maintained property. The bathhouse is beautiful, the tents are so roomy and very comfortable beds, and Heidi was so helpful with area attractions. Right across the road from Glendalough state park which was beautiful kayaking/paddle boarding and biking. Highly recommend !!!
